I’m 25 year old Photographer, I’m from the beautiful/exciting/huge/crowded/polluted-and-always-loved Mexico City, where I’ve lived most of my life (I lived a few years in Puebla, Puebla and like 3 years in Jalapa, Veracruz); I have a little sis named Gisela who lives with my mom, Angie. My parents got divorced since I was like 7, so it is an issue I got over and by now I can talk and be open about it.
I've worked in tons of different places--I guess being a nomade is my nature. I used to work at an agency called A&P
(Advertising & Promotion) and it's fun coz everyday was different and I got
to know many great people. Anyhow, I also used to work at this social help show for radio, TV and newspaper but my boss was/is a nasty and bitchy lesbian who
everybody hates, so I got sick of her and decided to get rid of her and be
free, free and kinda broken for a while. That's only in Jalapa. I graduated as an advertising executive (in Jalapa) because advertising is totally one of my passions; I think it’s quite fun and interesting. Another one of my passions is photography (obviously), I like taking pictures ever since I was a little girl; in fact, I'd actually take a camera with me everywhere and my aunt Araceli would make fun of me, but that's alright because I guess I took that hobbie and turned it into a good thing. The other passion is, of course, the music! Which I hope to be able to combine with photography in a future. I'd like to be a Music Photographer and take pics of bands either for their CD's artwork, concerts or even for magazine photoshoots, that's like, what I'd REALLY like!! Pretty cool eh? If somebody asked me, I’d say my biggest quality is that I’m funny and my biggest flaw is that, sometimes, I take too seriously things that I know I shouldn't...well that and that I’m a little bit of an hysteric haha. I love people who are funny, smart, honest, cool, nice, sarcastic, edgy, good friends, reliable, committed, intelligent, cultured, and have a good/at least decent taste in music. Oh yeah, you should know music is VERY important for me, and why not, I mean, it sure is a big deal! lol Once, somebody told me I’m a “music racist” and after thinking about it for, like, 5 seconds, I realized…they’re absolutely right and I don’t care! Hahaha Another thing you should know about me, modesties aside, is that I’m a really good friend, I can be the best of friends BUT when I feel I’m betrayed or pushed to my limit, there’s no turning back. If I ever ask you to meet me or invite you to do something and you say no...several times, well, there's only so many times I will ask as I do have a limit when it comes to that, so I would advise you not to push it so fast, plus, I always appreciate an honest "no" than a horrible excuse/lie! I might yell kinda often but for me to get, like, really mad is sorta difficult, so once you’ve done something to upset me…be careful, but don’t worry too much because it may have a solution, and believe it or not, it is pretty easy, most of the times all it takes is an apology--I can be very understanding! For me, the WORST thing a friend *or any person you care about* can do to you is to lie and to stand you up, so you’d better watch out haha and be cool coz if you don’t do any of these things, we can be friends!
Among my fave things to do are: going
to the movies, listening to music, going out with friends, surfing the
net, writing *just anything and everything*, reading, bugging people, buying
CD’s and DVD’s, traveling, webdesigning, laughing and being sarcastic!! |
